The chicks are housed in a “Hen Condo” and follow the cows in their grazing rotation. The Condo is an 8’ x 16’ portable henhouse allowing the laying hens free-range within secured electrified netting. The hens eat bugs and scratch through cattle droppings to sanitize the pasture imitating birds in nature that follow herbivores as biological cleansers. Also, used in addition to the Condo is the “Mobile Coop” which utilizes the same electrified netting and unlimited salad bar grass and bugs.
